Watching our community train day in and day out highlighted a glaring problem: the digital tools we rely on are broken. We are building Project Send for how climbers actually train, travel, and project.
Lucy Saunders
Co-founder of LUMA Climbing Gym
Background & Philosophy
For Lucy, climbing is the ultimate escape from everyday chaos. She has a deep passion for board climbing and envisioned a space in Bath that would allow climbers to get ideal mid-week training sessions between their regular outdoor climbs.
Professional Expertise
Overcoming the challenges of a small footprint, Lucy successfully utilized a compact space in the city center to proudly bring Bath its very first dedicated climbing facility.
Notable Achievements & Interests
She is an award-winning marketing and design specialist who pioneered the opening of the UK's first unmanned climbing facility. Beyond the climbing wall, her second love is the outdoors; when she isn't training on the board, she can be found exploring nature and the wilderness.
Ben Sandison
Product & Engineering
Background & Philosophy
Ben is a full-stack engineer and designer passionate about building tools that solve real problems for climbers. He is especially interested in design and, through volunteering as a guidebook moderator, has built a deep understanding of the climbing community.

Ben leads the product and engineering efforts at Project Send, translating the team's vision into a functional, user-friendly platform that climbers actually want to use.

Eliot Stephens
Climbing Coach & Guidebook Author
Background & Philosophy
Eliot understands the many challenges of improving at climbing. Having learned from his own mistakes to become a stronger and more consistent climber, he emphasizes the importance of guidance to overcome plateaus, prevent injuries, and maintain a healthy relationship with the sport.
Professional Expertise
Offering on-the-wall coaching, written training plans, and dedicated mentoring, Eliot uses an analytical approach to training. He helps climbers navigate common stumbling blocks, proving that with the right mindset and a solid plan, any goal is achievable.
Notable Achievements & Interests
In 2021, he wrote, photographed, and designed the Guidebook for Bouldering in South Wales, helping to kickstart a wave of development and bring well-deserved attention to his home region.
Matt Hilson
Gym Co-Creator & CEO of Meeple Corp

As a passionate, newer climber, Matt is driven by a desire to improve his outdoor climbing pursuits. He thrives on trying new things and bringing ambitious, forward-thinking ideas to life.
Professional Expertise
Combining his technological expertise with his love for the sport, Matt worked hard to create a boundary-breaking, unmanned climbing space in Bath, expanding the possibilities of what a modern climbing gym can be.

Outside of the climbing world, Matt is the CEO of Meeple Corp, where he leads a tech-first team dedicated to transforming analogue games into the digital space.
